Dr Rao garu, I have gone through your paper. It is very insightful. One example I could note which vibes with the cosmetic world as well is – Zinc oxide and its ability to cure skin diseases.
In my view, I could be terribly wrong, Perhaps these benefits are like the ‘by products’ benefits of Yagnam.
I am curious to know your thoughts on measurable metrics & instruments using a similar scientific approach, measuring the aspired benefits befalling on Yajman and the Yaji (who has mastered the code and ritually & scripturally conducts it in authentic form.)
At the center of a Yagnam is the ‘Sankalpa’ of the Yajman. A form on ‘Intentionality’ to manifest defined ‘outcomes’! The process itself being a trio of ‘Mantra – Yantra – Tantra’ Ofcourse, the pious and pure shield under which this whole process needs to be performed for optimal results.
My question to you is – During the course of this controlled experiment, do we have tangible metrics to measure and compare the before & after results for the Yajman? Especially, let’s say the sankalpa is to cure oneself from a disease… ? Perhaps the benefits that a Yaji gets it per force of performing the Yagnam in adherence to rules & dharma! Doing so will make this whole process not just scientifically more tenable & acceptable by the scientific reviews but also perhaps modernized and further demystified this age old tradition to be more broadly accepted but also revived to stay current for next few millennia’s….
